Serve as a subject matter expert for PMO standards, processes and methodologies. Develop project charters and business cases. Will participate in annual operational and strategic planning. Ensure appropriate benefits and value measurements are developed for success that address all stake holders. Manage small to large sized complex projects, typically lasting over a year involving multiple vendors and multiple technologies. Conduct feasibility, risk, regulatory compliance, and ROI analysis and make recommendations on project feasibility. Formulate the project plan and establish project critical path. Manage project team, resolving project issues regarding budgets, time lines and resources. Participate in the development of a project budget for budget request purposes. Clarify, help identify and document project risks. Participate in/lead the development of RFP/RFI process. Provide project assignments to the project team, manage project scope and ensure the quality of deliverables. Maintain ongoing communication with customer(s) during the course of the project or project charter ensuring that they are up to date on progress. Oversee the implementation phase of the project, coordinating with customer areas, vendors and other areas of the hospital. Evaluate performance of project team members; manage vendors in context of the project.
