The Software Engineer Performs detailed analysis, architecture, design, programming and unit/integration testing of assigned units or complete systems. Understands and follows the principles of object oriented design. Participates in design and code walkthroughs. Prepares complete and accurate estimates for statements of work and project plans. Prepares technical documentation as needed. Consults as needed with IT staff. Effectively communicates with other departments such as Project Management, Quality Assurance, Creative and Sales. Education and Work Experience * Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience * 3+ years experience in software development of web applications * Strong working experience in the following technologies: .NET 2.0, C#, ASP.NET, ASP, XML, XSLT, SQL, Web Services, HTML, XHTML, DHTML, IIS 5+, HTTP, VBScript, CSS, and JavaScript * Experience using Source Control systems required. * Strong understanding of project lifecycles, software development environments, and source control techniques * Excellent analytic and problem solving skills * Strong written and oral communication skills * Ability to identify, prioritize, and execute tasks to meet critical project deadlines * Exp. as a lead developer * Exp. with the use and development of SQL, stored procedures, views, triggers, etc. * Development experience with JavaScript, Flash and/or Flex. * Configure, administer and manage SQL Server databases a plus * Experience with object oriented practices, iterative development methodology, enterprise content mgt system implementations, load / unit testing software, and UML /use cases are pluses
